With this bright wide-angle lens, you have a very attractive zoom range, with a field of view equal to a 14 to 28mm zoom on a camera with a full-frame sensor. The high f/2.8 brightness in combination with Olympus' unsurpassed in-body image stabilization (IBIS) means that even in situations with very little light you can choose a low ISO value, without having to be worry about motion blur.I look in Lightroom about once a year at the focal lengths that I have used most among the keepers that are left at the end of the year. There is always a disproportionately high number of shots made with a focal length of 7 or 8 mm....
Met deze lichtsterke groothoeklens heb je een zeer aantrekkelijk zoombereik, met een beeldhoek die gelijk is aan een 14 tot 28mm zoom op een camera met een volformaat sensor. De hoge f/2.8 lichtsterkte in combinatie met Olympus’ onovertroffen in body beeldstabilisatie (IBIS) maakt dat je zelfs in situaties met heel weinig licht nog een lage ISO waarde kan kiezen, zonder dat je bang hoeft te zijn voor bewegingsonscherpte. Ik kijk ongeveer eens per jaar in Lightroom naar de brandpuntsafstanden die ik het meest heb gebruikt bij de keepers, die aan het eind van het jaar overblijven. Daar zitten altijd onevenredig veel opnames bij, die gemaakt zijn met een brandpuntsafstand van 7of 8 mm…….
